I don't think of it as a reduction in dues cost - I was just giving an example that shows how this discount could appear unfair.
We probably will only take advantage of this perk on occasion as we only go to WDW once a year for a week and PH's work better for us, but I can understand why the OP is not happy. He bought into the same club as everyone else.... just because his guests are not living with him they are not given the same opportunity for a discount as others. This is not like the Florida resident discount.... We all belong to the same club he does - we just have more people living with us. Why should extended family get a discount just for living with someone? Sorry, this one doesn't make sense to me. (And $100 is still a lot of money to me-especially when you multiply it by several family members!

I think it's a WONDERFUL perk (which I hope continues) but I see it from both sides.
