DVC MS booking system??

I called today to book some La Nouba tickets at the DVC discounted rate. I was told that "the system is down" try again later... That seems very strange since I could actually buy them online via the Disney website including looking at the seat assignments.... Do they use a different system at MS??

I tried to make an ADR and the system was also down.

DVC is still in the dark ages when it comes to computer systems. Other than the DVC room reservation and points system, they use Disney's websites and programs.

On-line check-in, ADRs, APs, and any other computer program is actually a Disney program that the DVC accesses. For some programs, DVC requires updates from Disney and for other programs, DVC uses the program live.

If they didn't get their update, or if they loose their link to Disney, they say that their system is down.

When ever possible, we cut out the middle man and go straight to Disney. Less problems and mistakes.

I also tried to make an ADR, yes system down. I hope I can get one in tomorrow morning. They will be busy then.
