We got back from Victoria and Albert at the Grand Floridian. It was a nice 3-hour long fine dining experience.
I had:
- Dungeness Crab Cannelloni with Baby Greens, Radishes and Caviar
- Minnesota Elk Tenderloin over Stewed French Lentils with Baby Brussels Sprouts
- Carmelized Nantucket Scallops with Zellwood Corn Ragout
- Australian Kobe Beef Tenderloin with Smoke Garlic Potato Puree ($35 extra)
- White Chocolate Gelato with Tableside Shavings and Micro Orchids
- Tanzanian Chocolate Pyramid, Hawaiian Kona Chocolate Souffle and Peruvian Chocolate Ice Cream and Puff Pastry
My DW did the $60 wine pairing and really enjoyed it; however, it was a bit too much alcohol for her and she left a bit tipsy. They prepared special dishes for my DW due to all her food allergies.
My DW loved the whole experience so much she wants to go back again and again. Since I didnt get the wine pairing the total bill was only $370. I think Id rather reserve it for special occasions.
