Well the first one was held yesterday. Anyone else attend? It was pretty much the same as last year except not very many games for the kids and none for the adults and no prizes for any of the couple games. My kids had a good time though.

I went also DJ Kept the crowd entertained but I was personally bummed out that there was no pin trading board and pin previews as in past years
still fun though

They had the LE Christmas pins at the store even though they were not being sold elsewhere yet.

I saw the dates posted one time but cannot find them now. Anyone know where I can find them?

I was told by the DVD/DVC executive offices that members pay for the Merry Mixer through their dues included in the Member Activities line item, so that means that we are buying our own ornaments.

All this time I thought the Mixer was Disney's way of saying thanks, we value you as a member.

How very generous of us. ;)

At least it feels like we are getting a little something extra. In any case I will be glad to get it.

So why don't those of us who never go at Christmas get one?

You could probably call your guide and get one if there are any left the next time you are down there. That's what I've done in other years.

And those of us who are there at Christmas only get one if we're lucky....
I really wish they had a Merry Mixer between Christmas and New Years for those of us that go during that week.

This will be our 4th Christmas spent at Disney and the only one we've ever received was the first year. I think I'll call ahead to member services and see if they can hold one for us at the front desk this time around. The last couple of years we were told they ran out.

I was there last week and didn't get to go to the mixer bc of other reservations, called DVC and they wouldn't allow me to get an ornament in any way shape or form. Hoping I can find one somehow.

Try asking your guide. Our guide sent us two, after DH called to ask for information that a friend wanted to know. This friend was thinking of buying DVC. Our guide passed along a few duplicate pins and ornaments.
