DVC Merchandise

Howdy. We're headed down soon (insert your favorite single digit dance here). As new DVC members and long time Disney geeks, where can we find the best DVC merchandise to take back with us? Pins, artwork, glasses, etc.

Generally you'll find these things in the individual resort gift shops -- and the gift shops at different resorts will have a different selection. None of them, unfortunately, will offer very many DVC items.

As a new owner/member, I find this extremely frustrating. You'd think DVC merchandise would be ALL OVER the members' website but alas, I can't find any. You'd THINK they'd want us to be doing marketing for them, wouldn't you???

Is there anywhere to buy DVC stuff short of Orlando proper and fleaBay??? There's GOT to be merchandise onlince somewhere. To be sure!

I've noticed that there is less DVC merchandise available than there used to be at the WDW DVC resorts. That tells me either it wasn't selling that well or they wanted to use the space for merchandise that sold better. If they were making money on it, they would not have cut back.

Agreed, however it could possibly sell better if there was a link on the dvc member site for dvc merchandise. Someone "borrows" my liscence plate frame every time I put one on, and I have to wait sometimes a year to get another one, or replace my cap that has blown off into the river while boating.

I have been seeing less and less DVC items in the resort gift shops. FYI Pins are not out in open. You have to ask someone behined the counter and they will tell you where they are if they are not there. You have to show your ID to get them.

They are nice. I always try to pick up at least one a trip.

We spoke with a Cast Member last week while we were there chasing down DVC merchandise as new owners. A whole slew of new items were supposed to be released in April but the logo was wrong. They should be receiving them around the first of June. Can't wait to see what's coming!

I'm here now at SSR and I asked for DVC pins behind the counter at the resort store. They had four different one. The thing that disappoints me is that I would like to have an SSR sweatshirt that is also a DVC Member one, but they don't have that here. I can buy the typical DVC logo member sweatshirt or the navy blue resort one. I find this frustrating! Also, the other items available aren't worth the prices to me and things I don't normally buy anyway.

It's not selling as well because they have been selling the exact same stuff for over two years now. They have been selling that same white polo with the blue stripes on the collar forever. I have most everything that they have in the stores and I bought a lot of it nearly two years ago. This past trip DH and I went to all the DVC resort stores to see if there was anything new or different. Other than a t-shirt at OKW, it was pretty much the same old stuff. I think they are really falling down in this area.

They didn't even have an OKW refrigerator magnet when we were there last month. That seems like a no brainer to have stocked.

My impression - from the very limited selection - has always been that DVCers must not buy DVC merchandise...and maybe I was the odd one for wanting it.

We would also love it see some more
DVC merchandise at the resorts.

I do like the polo shirt and the tee at OKW,
but more is needed.
