DVC MEMBERS, who is from Jersey

Westfield NJ and we own at OKW. Going for Jersey Week this yr and staying in a GV.
Should I be worried about crowds for Jersey Week???????

Jim,

I wouldn't worry too much about the crowds. I think the crowds have grown over the last few years, but it is not terrible. We were there last November and the standby wait for the more popular rides (Tower of Terror, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain) was around 30 minutes. The only exception was Soarin', which had extremely long wait times and the fast pass machines were emptied early, but the ride was very new. There were many rides and shows with very short wait times. Also, I was late making adr's and I didn't have any difficulty there either.

Live on the coast in Cape May county. Own at BWV (vacation at an interpretation of where we live !!!) and SSR.

Lucky you! We own BWV as well, but the BCV's decor seem more like Cape May to me. I can't wait until July, when I'll be back in NJ!

I haven't stayed at Pop yet. By the time it opened I owned DVC so there was no need. I may book that for the night before the cruise in October so I can put it on my "stayed there" list. The AP rates came out yesterday and no monorail resorts were included. YC, BC and BWI are $189 + tax and OKW and SSR are $159 + tax for studios. I booked BC for the pool and closeness to EC. There were no FL resident rates. Oh, and the rates are for 7/5 to 8/5 only.

Your December trip sounds like fun. Christmas at WDW is a sight to see, or so I here. I haven't been myself yet but will this year. I'm going to MVMCP on December 4th, then attending the condo meeting December 5th (BWV, 9AM). I plan on doing at least 1 more than that, maybe 2 more. The best part of your trip is that you do it as a family. It helps that both of you own too. Have a great time and let me know if you want to meet.

I grew up in Pennsauken. My DH went to high school in Maple Shade. When I got married I moved to Maple Shade. This is next to Cherry Hill.
We bought at SSR in January 2006. Going back in December to stay for the first time at SSR.

About 1 yr ago we moved from Burlington to Westampton NJ.

We won't be there Jersey week because if your kids are in Catholic schools you do have off the same times - Jersey week is only for public schools.

My dd does have off tomorrow, Friday and Monday for Memorial Day/ Ascension Thursday.

Spkk - used to work in Mt Laurel, but now I am working in Pennsauken along the Cooper River.

my kids graduated from Gloucester Catholic in Gloucester City nj and they had off thurs fri and mon for memorial day weekend. their seniors graduate tomorrow the philly catholic schools are off this weekend also ,so no jersey week in nov for catholic schools. but alot of other times off to go to fl
