DVC members renting DVDs at AKL Jambo House

Hi Everyone,

Really quick (and random) question... has anyone rented DVDs at AKL Jambo House? I know that DVC members get free (at least the last time I checked ) DVD rentals from various places (Beach Club Marketplace at the BCV) and I was wondering if that's the same at AKL. I know for sure that there's got to be a place at AKL Kidani for DVD rentals, but what about Jambo House? We're staying in a one-bedroom at Jambo House and I was just wondering if this DVD free rental option is open to us as well, and if we need to go to Kidani to rent them?

I believe that you can get them at the gift shop in Jambo House.

We borrowed a movie during our stay this past August while at Jambo from the Marketplace.

We borrowed DVD's at Jambo House in June. They are at the "secondary" counter (not the one by the food and liquor) in the Zawadi Marketplace.

One thing to note, the DVD's are due back by 10am the day after you sign them out. We received phone calls (starting at 7am!) reminding us to return our DVD's.

Any chance this occurred on the day you were checking out from the resort? A 7AM call seeking return of the borrowed video on a "normal" day would sure be annoying!

We actually borrowed the videos twice, once was the last night, but we did get the phone calls (early) each time. It was a bit annoying, but we were up anyways so I guess I didn't notice it too much.

What type of DVD's do they have just Disney DVD's?

Thank you everyone! My best friend and I have a long list of Disney movies to go through before our trip and have decided that some may have to be viewed when we're there. (Sigh... I had such a deprived childhood! )

Good luck getting a a movie, we went down and it was slim pickings.
