Although we are DVC members--we still eat in the parks. Usually we eat breakfast in the room and then buy a snack during the day. For our evening meal, we usually eat at a nice sit down restaurant. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to use some of the new packages for dining. We are talking about my husband, 9 year old daughter, and myself. We are also premum annual passholders so the packages for admission/dining are not appropriate.

We are leaving on Friday night (3/11) so any quick info would be appreciated.

I would have suggested the Disney Dining Experience card but if you're leaving this soon, I'm not sure how it would work. Maybe you could call them, buy the card and have them fax a letter to your resort showing that you have the card. It is $50 for AP holders and it gets you 20% off many of the meals you would eat. We are looking at getting it for our June trip.

I agree the DDE option is your best bet. They will fax or e-mail you a letter that you can use at the resturants to confirm that you are a member.

If you call today, you should receive an email with the authorization letter same day. I signed up earlier this week and had the letter within a couple of hours. the rep I spoke to said just show the letter and you will receive the discount.
