DVC member perks for Offsite accomodations

Hi,

going to WDW in 2 weeks for a few days and we decieded this only last week due to good airfares but DVC is all booked so we have to stay outside of Disney this time.

Now, we can still use the member perks for discount dining, right?? even though we not staying on site. I still have my blue DVC card and that good enough to show, correct??

It being a long time that i was force to stay outside of Disney!! but hey, i still get to see Disney!!

Correct.

You can't use DVC resort facilities (health club, pool) or use the member pool hopping perk, but things like dining discounts and tour discounts should be available simply by showing the member ID.
