DVC Member Gifts on DCL Cruise

Are DVC Members sailing on DCL still getting stateroom gifts on embarkation day? We used to get various types of bags, ie; back packs, beach bags.

Are DVC Members sailing on DCL still getting stateroom gifts on embarkation day? We used to get various types of bags, ie; back packs, beach bags.

The only gifts we have ever received as DVC members have been hats and lanyards, usually by stopping by the DVC information desk and showing our blue member card. Oh, and a door magnet.

In January, we didn't get any DVC gifts in our room; just the DVC magnet on our door.

We did get gifts by visiting the DVC desk every day (drawstring backpack, hat, button, temporary pirate tattoo and Riviera print).

Even in pre Covid times we didn't get gifts in the room from DVC, just the magnet on the door. You can stop by the desk for things like lanyards, hats, etc.

Ok that makes sense. I have gotten several sling bags and a beach bag one time. Still silver ( will be gold after this cruise). What’s different moving up to gold?

I think gift is the same. Or maybe I got a luggage tag as well as the bag once I turned Gold. I can't remember for sure.

Yep, luggage tags, or as we use them: nice big coasters.
