DVC Member get togethers NYC

id love to find a way to get together and meet other DVCers in the NYC area, does anyone know of any way to go about that?

I am in NJ. We could wait until the new DVC Sales Center opens and meet up at the mall. Just a suggestion. I would guess the new site opens some time this summer.

Great idea i cant wait to check out the new Long Island doorway to dreams, i was just at disney but didnt have a chance to check out the bay lake tower models when i was there so id love to see them at doorway to dreams.

ill keep a get together on the back burner until we get closer to the doorway to dreams opening, id also wait till they confirm a firmer date for the opening.

Queens here and I meet fellow DVCers all the time now LOL. Most recently at my DDs karate school.

One of the Disney Insider magazines had a map of the country with the number of DVC owners by state. The northeast definately had the majority of DVC owners and not surprisingly. It's only a 2 - 3 hour plane ride for most of us and once upon a time we had more expendable income than most of the country that we could invest in this type of vacation experience. I always look forward to my Disney trips with great anticipation and I am never dissappointed so I just keep going back. This December I will be bringing my two nieces, DSis, BIL, mom and dad down and renting my first two bedroom at the VWL and I just can't wait. I hope I don't get too spoiled with the extra space as I have been making my points go a long way by staying in a studio often when it's just 3 of us.
