DVC Member Discounts ??

I just became a member and received a whole box of paperwork etc and the member's guide refers to very few member discounts -- I know there are more than these from just reading on the DIS -- how can I find a list of all of them?? Thanks!!

When you check in you are given a long list of discounts that are available to you as a member of DVC at WDW. Other discounts like The Disney Store are probably listed on what they sent to you.

You can also find a current list on the website for DVC Members. Here's a link to get you started:

The user name and password should be somewhere in your paperwork. If you have the 2002-2003 Member Guidebook, look on the inside of the front cover. If you have the 2001-2002 book, look on page 6. You can also get the user name and password by calling Member Services.

Once you get signed on, click on the link for "Member News" (near the top of the column on the left side of your screen). Then click on "Special Member Offers".

I am renting points from someone in November. I read on an earlier post that renters are entitled to DVC discounts. NOt being able to access the DVC page, could someone tell me a few of the discounts which I may be entitled to?

According to our documentation, renters are not entitled to DVC discounts. If you rent points, the owner is supposed to tell DVC that you are renting points. Only members or their guests are entitled to the DVC discounts.
