dvc member/dining plan question

I know the Dining Plan has changed and is a bit more flexible for DVC members.. I just have a question but I wasnt sure if this is one of the changes. We plan on staying DVC Aug 7Sunday-Aug 13tSaturday. I was wondering if I could only do the plan Monday-Saturday reason being.. we are flying in on thursday night..Aug 4. staying at POR on the quick service plan.. and dont arrive until Thurs night around 7 . I know we will have dinners to carry over to use on Sunday..knoing the are valid until midnight.. it would be a waste to have the regular dining plan b/c we would have dinners left. Thanks.!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, you would have 2 room reservations and you can link them. One with dining, one without.

You'll have to pay for the dining plan when you add it to your reservation.

You can use any way you want on the dinning plan. You can use all in 1 day or spread out between to fit your staying.

So If I wanted to only do dining plan until Thursday instead of Friday I could do that and still use remaing meals on Friday? This would just mean 3 reservations right? 1 for Sunday(no dining plan) 1 for Mond-THursday and 1 for Friday leaving Sat.?
