DVC member cruise question

Probably a dumb question but is the DVC member cruise only for DVC members or does it open up to other people if the ship doesn't fill up?

I was on the first DVC Member Cruise in 2003. The day they opened for booking, most categories of rooms sold out. Waiting lists formed. I got in on the first hour and secured our category 6 cabin, our first choice. Little to no chance of it not selling out I am afraid.

Why don't you hop over to our DVC Board and consider buying into it? Sounds like you have an interest in DVC, and that way you could have a chance on the member cruise, perhaps?

DH & I are DVC members (DH bought in before we were married so I am still figuring out how DVC works since I am taking over planning the family vacations) Anyway, we are going on our first cruise in 10 day and after reading these boards, I am sure we will LOVE it!!! I would definately be interested in going on a DVC cruise. I was wondering:

Do they have a DVC Member cruise every year?

Is the WHOLE ship DVC Members?

Yes the whole ship is dvc members or Family there of..

The date for next years cruise has been set ...2006 DVC Member Cruise - October 22, 2006

and there is a thread for it on the cruise meets board..

Im not sure but I dont Think.. Reservations have actually Been taken for this trip yet...
