DVC Member Celebration and DVC Preview

Looking at recent navigators, I see that there are two DVC-related events, a DVC Member Celebration, and a DVC Group Preview. My wife and I are DVC members, and we will be traveling with a couple that is not DVC.

Our friends have expressed interest in DVC in the past, so I think they may decide to attend the DVC Group Preview while we are on board. I assume that my wife and I can attend it with them, even though we are already members. Correct?

My real question is whether non members can attend the Member Celebration. That is, can our friends accompany my wife and I when we go to the celebration, or is it truly "members only" (no guests)?

Does anyone here know, or will I just need to ask at the DVC desk when I board?

They can go with you as guests. Or they should be able. We've gone to the DVC member event with family who aren't DVC and they had no problem with it. You can also go to the other group preview even if you are DVC. Though some of the offers they have there are for new DVC members and you don't get them if you are already a member.

We've brought non-member friends to the Celebration before. One of them one the drawing too.

Non-members who join members at the members celebration can participate in the door prize raffle just as members do. That’s how they add more names to their mailing list. DVC never misses a marketing opportunity. Just consider the volume of advertising flyers left in the staterooms over the course of a cruise.
