dvc member but staying at Marriott

Hi can anyone tell me about DVC perks when not staying at disney resort. We went for 2 weeks in Oct. and have no points. My mother is giving us her Marriott week and we are staying at Marriott Harbour Lakes. I was wondering about pool hopping and Disney shuttle service if we drove to disney resort. And any other pertinent info. Oh yeah, what about extra magic hours???? thanks for any advice.

Your DVC membership card will still get you many of the dining/shopping perks - check on the member website for the list of current discounts. Disney transportation is available to anyone with MYW/AP passes.

Pool hopping is only available to members staying at DVC resorts - you will need the KTTW card identifying you as a "DVC Member" - your membership card alone is not enough.

Except for those with APs and onsite guests with a WDW resort parking pass you will have to pay for Theme Park parking. Extra Magic Hours are only for guests staying onsite - these are not DVC perks - they are only for onsite guests.

You won't be able to park at the Disney resorts unless you are dining there and you will get a three hour pass to park.

So, ultimately, unless you have an AP, you will pay to park.
