Being a member of DVC, does this automatically make you a member to Interval Interntational or other timeshare groups. If so how do you get a membership # so you can get member getaways at discounted prices? I see that you can join for $84 a year. Any recommendations on how to get added value for paying cash at other vacation club resorts since if you are not a planner DVC is always booked up. Thanks for any help.

No, sorry, you are not entitled to use II as an individual. DVC has a corporate membership (I guess that's the term) so they make all the arrangements.

if you go on the II site, they allow you to key in dvc as a point resort and charge you a years fee, but it does say pending vacation club membership verification. So I guess my membership will be declined. I think if you are a Starwood VC member this is included as a benefit. Will see what happens.
Thanks
