I just received the magazine last week and it was talking about the christmas party weekends etc. I guess it seems to me that this magazine comes out way after some of these events have started. In fact I am not sure what is even worth while about this magazine.

We enjoy receiving it keeps us informed about alot of happenings both future and past, especially since we are unable to make the annual meeting.

Well considering they want you to book 11 months in advance you should be thinking about NEXT December so maybe it's to get you planning ahead!

hmmm, since we all get late breaking news from the DIS, maybe they should stop producing the magazine and use the funds to give us discounted tickets

It's only a quarterly mag so it's probably too much to think that the info will be consistently timely.

The member website is a better resource for day-to-day info. The holiday party dates have been up there for about a month now.

Or you could rely on resources like the DIS and DVCNews.com.

If you got yours late, then we are getting ours really late - it still isn't here! Of course, we are relatively new (closed last month) so maybe the address list doesn't have us included yet. Anyway, we are still happy as clams to be members!

Get used to being one of the last to get it. Maybe they mail to Texas last. People on these boards always receive theirs way before us.

I am in Ohio and just got mine last week. It did seem odd that they are talking about the holiday actvities when most of the dates had passed.

My in-laws always comment on how long it takes us to receive things - maybe it is Texas! By the way, my sister and brother-in-law live in McAllen. One of their possible airports is in Harlingen I believe - small world!
