DVC lounge- EPCOT

Can someone please tell me where the lounge is located. We are new members and will be making our first stay as DVC in June and we definitely want to go and see it and check it out. thanks in advance

The stairs are in the gift shop in Journey Into Imagination (Figment). Blue card required to get upstairs….

As you approach the Imagination building bear left, but not up the slope. The exit from the gift shop is on your right. Go in there and you'll see the stairs directly ahead.

What do you think the odds are of this going away? They keep announcing the extension date like it’s a win. If it goes away, I hope they add another DVC lounge someplace. What are your thoughts? I think it’s a nice perk to have, and I’d be satisfied even if it’s not in as ideal location as it currently resides.

I think it'll stay as long as the space is there and the space fits the purpose. If they reimagined Figment or even replaced Figment with something else (I don't think it'll happen but it could get a big overhaul) I think it could go away then. I think whatever happens with Top of the World will be more indicative of what could happen with the lounge.

Some COVID changes to the lounge. You are seated at a specific place when you come into the lounge. You can no longer get your own drink. There is a table in front of the drink machines and a CM gets what you want. When you return for a refill you get a new cup. They do not come around with snacks, but they have some bagged snacks that they will give you when you get your drink.

I really hope they keep something going. Like I said, I don’t care if it’s grand in scale. I like the idea of DVC being like a club for Disney fans, and I think it’s cool when we get to hang out.

As long as they have new resorts/points to sell I think they will keep it or something similar.

They have had multiple years to do a lounge in another park and nothing has happened. I have a feeling that because the EPCOT space is a dead zone it costs them nearly nothing, but such opportunity is not there elsewhere.

Once the Epcot redo gets that far it may go away. That pavilion has to be on someone's hit list, because it is pretty tired.

When we were there last week, there was a virtual waitlist to enter. We were placed on the waitlist and I received a text about 3 minutes later that we could enter. The snacks at the time were snack bags animal crackers.

We love it as a break area during the day. The free pop and snacks are a bonus. Charging areas for your phones as well.

If you are real lazy or tired ask to take the elevator, also no bathroom in the lounge so go before you go to lounge.

Eventually there should be an expansion of the lounge in a new building with a complimentary full bar, free Hors D'oeuvres, and live entertainment. I'm not saying there WILL be, just that there should be.

I may be wrong, but IIRC it's not a self-service elevator. The person at the check-in desk had to get someone to operate the elevator. I believe this caused delays. So perhaps it might be appropriate to make the decision to use the stairs if you are able, and leave the elevator for people who are not able to use the stairs. (With the understanding that nobody knows if someone else might have difficulty with stairs so no judgment if someone takes the elevator.)

I’m glad to see people saying there are snacks there again. When I went in July right after reopening, it was beverages but no snacks.
