Had no problems logging into DVC before. Tried today and its asking for my number and my activation code which is long gone. Is there a way to log in normally with what I have already?!? My DVC login and password?!?

Keeps asking me to create a login....

Did you recently create /change a password on any other Disney/Abc/ESPN/go.com site?
Last year, DW changed the Disney Dining password, which resulted in a change of our dvcmember password.

I would try to open dvcmember.com in your browsers "in private", "incognito" , "private browsing"... Mode to avoid any cookies that may get I the way?

FWIW, I was able to get in to mine OK

Thanks for the info. I finally got in with the help of a super nice CM :)

How did you get in? I have been stuck at the "Link your Accounts" page for over a month now and have been going back and forth with Disney IT and getting nowhere. I am using my original ClubID and Activation code, but it keeps saying it's invalid.

Same thing happened to me a while back. I had to talk to a nice CM, that somehow "wiped" all my info so I could just "start over". I know I was typing in the right info as I had it written down. Something just messed up in the system. Annoying, but solvable with a phone call.

I finally got my login to dvcmember.com working! This is after months of not being able to log in and going back and forth with Disney IT who were completely unhelpful. Hopefully this will help others who are getting stuck with the "link your accounts" page. This may also help those who are locked out of their accounts.

Let me preface this by saying that I spent hours on this and tried many different things so I'm trying my best to remember exactly what I did and in what order.

Well here goes...

The issue stems from Disney linking the login names across all of their sites. Remember that Disney owns ABC, ESPN, and a few others. The system merged all of the account names from all of their sites. Previous to this change, I had one login for the DisneyWorld.com site and one for the dvcmember.com site. They were both the same username (email address) and password, but they were different accounts because I used to have to sign out of one site before logging into the other. My thinking was that what if instead of correctly merging the accounts, one account stayed and the other one went into the Disney IT abyss? In other words, I'm typing my email address and password correctly, but logging in with an account that isn't associated with my DVC membership. The "merge" must have made my disneyworld.com account the "primary" account and my DVC account was "eclipsed".

To experiment with this, I logged into the disneyworld.com site and changed my password so that I could differentiate the two accounts. I was thinking if I changed the password, the accounts might separate and allow me to sign into the DVC-associated account with my old password. This didn't work and the DVC site just said invalid password. When I used the new password, I just got the same old "link your accounts" page. I also tried to log into abc.com with my email address and old password and that didn't work either.

Now to further differentiate the accounts, I logged into the disneyworld.com site again and changed my email address to a secondary email address I have. At this point I tried logging onto abc.com with my old account (original email address and original password) and it actually let me in! Next I went to disneyworld.com and saw I was signed in already. I went into my profile and saw all of my information (name, address...) was not filled in anymore. This further confirmed that I had logged in with a different account. Finally, I went to dvcmember.com and was instantly taken to the home page with all of my reservations and other member info. Yay!!!

My situation was tricky because my password was the same for both sites, so there was no way of knowing I wasn't logging in with my DVC account. I would assume if you have this problem and you had a different password for each site, you might get an invalid username and password message and probably lock yourself out if you tried it 3 times. This is because your proper DVC associated account is being eclipsed by an account from another Disney-owned site. Try logging into disneyworld.com and changing your email address to something else and then try logging into dvcmember.com with your original email address and password.

I can't guarantee that you are having the same issue that I had, but hopefully it helps someone out there. Let me know if you have questions. I'm going to go play on the dvcmember site. Woo hoo!
