I recently looked on the DVC website at the insurance section, as I had read somewhere that DVC had stopped offering insurance to its members. On the page they still advertise a Travelex policy for $89 per Use Year, and, at the bottom of the page, there are links to a PDF copy of the policy and a brochure describing what it covers. However, when I click on "Purchase Travelex Insurance Online", the link takes me to a standard Travelex page to price out a standard policy, not the DVC policy.

I have been buying this insurance by purchasing it online for several years now, so I know what the "Purchase" page used to look like.

Does anyone know if DVC still has a contract with Travelex for a Members-only policy and how to purchase it?

We purchased it the end of January this year. We had to call MS to purchase. You can't do it online.

Thank you. I wonder why they changed that? I purchased it on line last year.

We’ve never bought travel insurance but now going to Disney with grandkids this December and curious to know what it covers? Just points, air travel and I guess WDW tickets? Ty!

We buy this every year, and love it.... DVC members, homed at BRV.

Now - I suspect that any issues are WEBSITE issues. WDW WEBSITES tend to be unstable with bad links, and inferior code.
CALL CALL CALL whenever that joke website throws up.

All personal opinion - I'm not necessarily right, no one else is necessarily wrong.

Anyway to find out what it covers before calling to purchase?
Yes, on the insurance website, there are links to the policy on the bottom of the page. Here is the path: DVC website, Plan Vacations, Pre-arrival checklist, Purchase Travel Insurance. Scroll to the bottom of the page - there are two "View" links. They work properly.

I actually wrote to DVC to tell them about the issue with the bad link. I guess my email never got to someone who could fix it.
