DVC in DC!

I'm pretty sure the water taxis will take you into DC(Georgetown?) and eventually they will transport folks to Nationals Park(103 losses and counting!):headache:

The point values at Natl Harbor are pretty close to Alexandria. The Balcony units at NH are higher, and the standard units at Alexandria are lower.

But, there is still plenty of availability at both for June and July 2010, except the 4th, which is sold out at both. That's a significant improvement vs. just Alexandria alone in prior years.

Edited to add: my diamond in the rough in the DC area has always been the State Plaza Hotel. Across the street from the State dept. in Foggy Bottom. Units are studios or 1BR with full kitchens. Furniture is *very* dated, but perfectly serviceable, and good rates. http://www.expedia.com/pub/agent.dll/qscr=dspv/htid=11234

Well to stay at NH, I'd want a balcony.:snooty:

Makes up for having to take the water taxi.

Well, you'd rather book Alexandria, and I'd rather book Alexandria, but it sure looks like either fewer folks are planning DC trips next summer, or some of them preferred National Harbor, becuase Alexandria is still open for most of June and July.

I hate that we can not trade in for this resort thru RCI. This would be the perfect resort for nightly stays. Here's hoping they add it in in the future!:thumbsup2

I think I've seen Alexandria once or twice---with National Harbor coming online, possibly one or both will show up more often. But, most wyndham deposits tend to go to Weeks, because that's how most members exchange. Only the stuff that goes through Plus Partners is likely to end up in points.
