DVC Holiday Dinner...Opinions?

I am thinking about paying for the DVC Holiday Dinner if I can get it. For those that have gone, was it worth it to you? I'm talking about the food and atmosphere. I have adjusted my expectations as I do understand that it is in a big ballroom and it is basically catered food.

I have not gone, but my cousin has to a Thanksgiving dinner, and she thought the two grand daughters had a wonderful time, and that made it worth it.

That's awesome! It will be our first time down for Christmas so I'm thinking this may be something nice to do.

I called today to see if I could book the Thanksgiving dinner. I was told to check back next month or so as they have not opened the booking window yet. Seems odd can’t book this 180 days out like other meals
