This may have already been covered somewhere else. Is DVC in Hawaii going to have a package or "add-on" for purchase that gets you transportation from Honolulu airport (HNL) to Ko Olina (sp?) and/or includes a Lei greeting upon arrival when going straight to the DVC property?

I kind of doubt it. Having been to the area you really need a rental car to see other things in the area. As for the Lei greeting, that would most likely be done once you check in. At least that's how it was when we stayed at the Marriott in Ko Olina.

Having said that, if Disney is planning a lot of off site excursions then they might do a bus/lei package from the airport. I think we'll still rent a car as we'll want to explore a lot on our own.

We did a cruise to Hawaii and did the rental car in every port. I planned things for us to do in the port like snorkel, horeback ride, volcano tour. Most rentals were less than 50 with my USAA discount. For example in Hilo the tour to the volcano and mac nut and the falls was 95 a person. We did the entire thing for $45 and that was with the price to get into the Volcano area. Most things you can do yourself and save alot of money. We did the luau on Oahu and we paid $55 with an outside company the cruiseline was $125. Research where you want to go you can always cancel the car. We too are hoping to get into Hawaii too.
