DVC Guide question

This has prob been asked before, but is it possible to change DVC Guides/Sales Reps? Is this generally frowned upon? Without getting into too much detail, I just am not a big fan of mine and would rather find someone else before I purchase VGF!
 
You need to call the main sales number and ask for a manager. You will need to explain why you want a new guide and they might assign you a new one.
 
No big deal, we changed twice until we found the right one.

I am not a fan of mine either...he called and called so much and used the hard sales tactics. I found a name of a guide lots of folks really like and called the main number and asked for her (back in Jan or Feb, when we were very briefly on the WL for HH points). Funny thing is, the person who answered was my guide and he asked me some questions before he transferred me (I guess he needed to get me up on the system) and he made some comment that I know he saw that he was my guide and he got really cold and quickly transferred me. I didn't care...I never asked for him to be my guide (we were first assigned a nice lady who eventually left and they then just assigned us this dud).
 

I am going to call soon too. The guide I had I really liked but recently left and we were assigned someone new :(. I am just not a fan and have decided to try and get a new one. Hope you get a new one you like!! :goodvibes

I have tried many times to get my guide changed. Even went into the sales office and got the card of the person who is supposed to be my new rep, however, every time I get information in the mail, it is still from my old guide. I have been trying for 4 yrs to get this changed!!!

What is the format for email addresses for the sales guides? I figured I would email my supposed new one but there is no email address on his card...

We've changed once and will probably change again too. The first time I didn't have to go into too much explaining and they were happy to change it. This time I'm going with someone that a friend recommended.

Agreed. It wasn't a problem for me either. You have to call member services and specifically request them to change it.

My guide's email was first. middle initial . lastname @ disney.com

Yeah, I would definitely be asking for a manager then, and if that doesn't work, send an email to Potruck or whatever his name is.
 
Ok so sent an email through the Disney vacation club site and they confirmed it has now been changed! YAY!
