We will be guests of a DVC member, who has already booked the room for us and will not be present on our trip. Are we still allowed to get the Dining Plan? I know DVC members do not qualify for free dining, so I didn't know if the Dining Plan in general applied. Please answer ASAP, as my brain is going to explode from trying to calculate if the Dining Plan Quick Service is worth it, and a quick response just might save my sanity. Thanks!

yes you can. You (or rather the dvc owner) has to pay for it when you add it. You have to add it at least 48 hours before arriving.

I know how you feel. I just did that a few hours ago. It was tedious but I guess kind of fun looking at the menus and thinking about what I'll eat. Before I started, I was convinced that we wouldn't even come close to breaking even with the QSDP. But when I started adding things up and adding tax I was really surprised. Since we usually eat at WPE twice per trip and go to Pepper Market at CSR, I came up with about a $20 savings per person for the entire trip if we get the QSDP. Now, I don't know what to do. :confused3

You can buy the dining plan, but everyone in the room has to get the same one. And you will need to arrange with the DVC member, who will need to add it for you and pay for it. Note that you have to add the plan to the reservation no later than 2 days before your arrival.
