Hi guys,

I'm flying over to WDW from Germany with my then wife this coming Saturday.
This is a very special trip, a) because it's our honeymoon but also b) we haven't been to WDW in 10 years and are looking forward soooo much.

This probably won't fly, but asking doesn't hurt:
Is anyone with a DVC membership willing to "transfer" us their Guardians Coaster preview, if that's even possible?
I've been trying to figure out if there is any way that I can surprise my fiancee / wife with a ride on the new coaster, and this is the only thing I could think of.

Registrations are not transferable. Congratulations on the marriage!

No, DVC (or AP) previews cannot be changed or transferred once the reservation has been made. The only 2 DVC preview dates are May 9th and the 18th so none of them are happening next week if you're only at WDW for the week.

We're there from May 1st - 12th :-)
Do you guys have any other ideas how we might be able to ride it?
...that question is probably the holy grail and everybody would love to know the answer, if there is one.
At least trying to ask a Concierge at our hotels (OKW & AKL) can't hurt ;-)

Thanks guys!

Unfortunately if you did not sign up for the DVC/AP previews and/or are not a Cast Member or a family member of a Cast Member there is a next to no chance of you riding it before the opening date of May 27th. Disney doesn't seem to do soft openings to the general public anymore.

sorry, the DVC/AP preview registrations aren't transferrable. Nor will anybody at your resorts be able to get you in, especially if you weren't eligible to register yourself. You would have to be extremely lucky and happen upon it at a time they are letting the general public in for a preview, which as noted doesn't seem to happen anymore.

I've been wondering if they will have GotG open for any of the Extended Evening hours. We won't be there for for the DVC preview dates, but we will be there for one of the EP Extended Evening hours in early May. It's probably unlikely that this will happen, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best!!!
