DVC Guaranteed Week rental on Disboards?

I noticed that the Disboards rental policies exclude 7 day rentals with a check-in on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I’m curious as to why that is excluded, but I could do a 7 day rental starting on a weekday? I feel like I’m missing something obvious here.

For those DVC owners with Guaranteed Weeks and who could prove it with our signed contracts, any chance the Disboards might offer a paid level to allow for guaranteed week rentals? I’m not looking to rent mine in the near future, mind you, but I’m curious if it will ever be allowed in the future should I need it.

From what I was told it was to prevent II/exchange weeks from being rented. I was also told they will not make exceptions. I rented mine on Redweek within a week of posting and it cost me about 40 bucks all said and done, you might want to try there.

There is no plan to change the current DIS policy in terms of guaranteed weeks being offered for rental.
