DVC grocery service????

Can anyone tell me about the grocery delivery service provided by DVC? Is it a good deal or should I look into garden grocer? Our first trip "Home" to BLT is Dec.1st. and I have been wondering about this service. I am thankful for any advice....Thanks so much!!!

The DVC grocery option just provides items that you can buy in their stores. Garden Grocer gives you a much larger variety of foods to pick from. We've used Garden Grocer and were pleased. When it was just DH and me, we made do with what was at the property.

HI,

The grocery store at DVC can be limited and expensive.
If you have small children, it would almost be a good
idea to go to a grocery store off property. As you
can imagine, the DVC can be more expensive for the
convenience.
It truly depends how much you will be eating out.
We just made breakfasts in our room because we
planned dinners. My children were teens so they
always ate on the fly at Magic Kingdom.
In the last few years, we started using the Dining
Plan option which once you understand the rules,
worked nicely for all of us.
Having the kitchen is great for making a coffee
or tea/hot chocolate in the evening and just
relaxing after a crazy day.
It truly depends on your family's needs.
I forgot to mention that Disney will stock
your fridge before you arrive if you give
them a list ahead of time.

We have used wegoshop.com five times now and truly value this service. We calculated that we saved the cost of the delivery fee by not buying at the Disney store. We have not used the DVC service, but I highly recommend wegoshop

We've used both gardengrocer and wego shop and found both to be a much better option all the way around.

Gardengrocer is good because you pick from their list...wego shop is good because you give them a list!

It depends on how much time you want to spend deciding your groceries. The wego shop took me longer to put together...but I kept the list and I've used it as a guide for subsequent trips. gardengrocer required less thought...just click the choice

The DVC grocery is limited and expensive. Have used Garden Grocer several times and been very pleased. If you want something you don't see on their site, just contact them and they will put it on your list.
