DVC golf rates in May?

Does anyone know what the rates using the DVC card will be in early May? I looked on the members' website, and they only go thru January, 2009 (isn't it a little late for that?) And what does the card cost? Unfortunately the rates for using the AP don't go down until May 10, the week after we're there! And since DH is planning to golf every day, we're looking into every possible discount.

I plugged in May 1st on the Disney Golf Reservation site and got a DVC rate of $59 at all courses. So you're probably safe with that rate for the entire month.

They are already acepting tee times for more than half of May so you may want to make them now rather than later. I'm heading down in early March and already have mine made (but my DVC rate is $109).

Thanks so much! I didn't know you could book online with the card. Then does he just buy the card when he gets there? These rates are so much better than we expected.

May is the summer discount rates. $59 per person per round before 10 and $39 after 10. DVC member card is $50 plus tax. The information is in the Member Benefits Guide on the official site, sign in, then click on Member Privileges near top of page, then click Member Benefits and Privileges, then click View Member Benefits Guide. The new updated guide was put in there about five days ago. You can reserve on-line, but just make sure you follow instructions to reserve as DVC member. You can reserve without the golf membership card. You just buy it first time you show up for a tee time at the pro shop.

Thanks so much for all the help! I just reserved the tee times, and even figuring in the cost of the card, he's saving close to $175 that week from what he expected to pay with the annual passholders discount. About $73/round vs. $125/round. Another reason to love DVC membership!
