Hi everyone!

I can't really find a clear answer to my question.. I tried dvcmember.com and that didn't help that much (or I glanced waaayyy too quickly!).

Could someone explain the discounts (if any) that a DVC member gets for golf? I know you can buy a DVC Golf Membership for ~$85, but I don't really understand the benefit of it. We're going down in February and want to spend a few days golfing (probably Oak Trail since 18 hole courses intimidate me) and was wondering if that "membership" would be worth it or not.

Any thoughts/opinions!?

Thanks so much again for your patience! :)

One $85 membership gets you and the rest of your foursome $89 rounds of golf in February at all the 18 hole courses. If you are planning to play Oak Trail, I suspect buying the annual membership would not make economic sense.

I just checked the dvc website. The annual membership, which is normally $85 dollars, is discounted to $50 for DVC members. This then allows you and your foursome reduced greensfees, but again, I don't think to Oak Trail. I have played all of the courses. When I was there, I walked Oak Trail...no carts. I don't know if that's still the case. The 18 hole courses are challenging but, to me, are worth the experience and few lost balls. There are special twilight rates. You can see what the websites say, yet there are always deals running. It certainly doesn't hurt to ask.
