DVC golf card-great deal-

even if you're only playing once. DH bought it last week. On his first round, he paid $50 for the card + $59 for the round. His cart-mate, also a DVC member, said "Oh, I'm only playing this one round so I didn't buy it." So the guy paid $139 for his round-$139 vs. $109. A guy in the other cart, also a DVC member, thought his deal was better(?)-2 rounds for $200. So he only paid $100 to DH's $109. However, the next day, for their second round, that guy paid another $100 but DH only paid $59. So check into that DVC golf card!
BTW, DH played every course last week, so I'd be happy to answer any questions about specific courses.

Did your DH play as a single? Did they just match him up with others? I think my DH woudl like to play, but I no longer do.

Yes, they always matched DH up. And most of the time,they were other singles too. Sometimes,out of a foursome, there'd be two golfers who were together, and two singles.

The value of the membership depends on the time of year. I just booked an August tee time. Resort guests pay $89 for a tee time while the DVC Golf members pay $59. If you're playing just one round in Aug, it's not helpful. But for two rounds it'll save money.

I bought a golf membership last October and used it to golf at the Magnolia and the LBV courses with my dad. This year, I'm bringing my clubs again. I loved golfing at WDW. It kind of spoiled me for other courses. If I golf twice on my upcoming trip, the membership will more than pay for itself- six rounds of world class golf for about $400. I've decided to treat it like any other annual membership at WDW. I've got my AP, my Tables in WOnderland card, and now I have my golf membership.
