Now I appreciate all this.... but must ask? Where did WDW post current TAX levels? Has it occured to anyone that these might change with time?

Sorry for posting any of this - I called. Got the official renewal price. I will not make the mistake of posting this irritating data again. Doing my best to delete previous entrys.

Sales tax is not secret information privileged only to Disney.
Of course tax rates can change, but whatever price Disney quoted you would change accordingly.

Sales tax is calculated by the state, not WDW. I assume most people understand that and if they wanted to know the rate, would simply look it up.

No need to be snarky with your response. Your initial post had wrong information in the need to call, used all CAPS which indicates yelling, and some of us responded with how to get the info on your own Using FL sales tax rate.

my renewal date was 11th which is the 60 days prior to the April 11th expiration date. How awful does that suck that I missed it by literally overnight. Awful that a small heads up isnt offered.

I've been too busy to be on the DISboards like I used to be. Was just checking in for the scoop as I saw posts about this on FB the other day. Kicking around the idea of another trip to Aulani sometime (with a stopover in CA and a couple of days at DL). Is the Platnimum Plus pass the one that's good on both coasts? Does anybody know where the value kicks in to just go ahead and buy that pass if you have 2 week long trips planned for WDW with a few days inbetween at DL?

(Our last AP's expired in Nov and they were a renewal so this increase really stings!)

Platinum Plus is a no blackout WDW pass with water parks. The DVC PP price is about $1064 with tax
Premier is the DL+WDW. At $2099, I doubt there’s any way it makes sense for 1 DL trip.

Thanks - I didn't see the Premier one listed on the chart! You're right - at that price not worth it!!
