Dvc giftcard offer

I have a trip coming up in November and today got an email that if I call a number and take interactive phone tour about DVC they will send me a $25 disney gift card for my trip. I am a bit curious about DVC but really don't think we will ever purchase it. Too much of an obligation. Should I still take the tour for the giftcard or do you think I will be called daily with spam if I do it? Anyone had this offer and how much do they bug you after if you say no.

I am a bit skeptical about the offer, as I have never heard of them doing such a thing, the only thing they ever even offer for a physical tour is FPs.

But if it's legit, I wouldn't worry about daily calls, DVC is truly low pressure. When we had originally said no (never say never by the way, as they came out with incentives that made it impossible to say no a while later), they never even called us again, except when they had incentives coming out that might get us to join.

We got an email like this last fall. My husband did the phone call and we got our $25 gift card in the mail. The phone call was very low pressure and we haven't gotten any spam calls since. Every once in awhile we get a postcard or piece of mail from DVC and that's it. I say go for it!

I got a $40 offer earlier this year. I had always been interested but knew we mostly likely would not purchase at that time. I made the call, had a wonderful conversation, got a ton of information sent to me, received my $40 GC and have had no pressure at all.

Thanks for the info everyone. I just did it this evening and so far so good. The lady was very nice and the info was interesting. It's out of our price range at this time for sure but it's nice to have a better understanding. Just have to wait for the giftcard now.
