DVC/Florida Annual Pass Question

We have DVC annual passes that are on the brink of expiring. We previously lived out of state so the DVC annual pass was a great option for us. We are now official FL residents. Would it be possible for us to be able to get the discounted renewal rate if we changed our passes to FL payment-plan annual passes? The initial purchase and renewal prices are the same for both passes. I feel certain that we could not do since that but thought I would ask here.

You will have to renew at the FL Resident Rate (which is the same as the DVC Member Rate) in order to take advantage of the monthly payment plan.

I'm a FL ressie and flip back and forth depending on the offer. Last year the DVC offer was WAY better than the FL renewal rate so we did that. This year, not so much for how we use our passes. We renewed w/ FL rates and got the payment plan.
We do this in person each year in DTD at customer relations. They've always been really helpful.
