DVC Fireworks Cruises Returning

Never did this one but in September we rented a private pontoon firework cruise for my daughters birthday. It was actually cheaper since we had 8 people and the price is by the rental not number of people.

It included snacks and soda/water and you can bring your own food if you’d like. We had a cast member piloting the boat and up close view of the magic kingdom fireworks. Its up there as one of the best things I’ve done at disney.

Definitely recommend the private one. It was worth the price!

We have rented private ones many times. Now I can’t drink alcohol, so DVC offer isn’t as attractive to me.

We even used Theme Park Community board here to find folks to join us and help pay for it. No issues when we have booked and tried to share.

Considering it for our June trip, just wish it wasn't the same evening as extended evening.
That does seem odd. But you could still go to extended evening, right? I mean, that technically starts AFTER fireworks. I wonder what the timeline look like.

You could, but you'd also be walking against the mass herd leaving the park.....

What's the difference between the DVC cruise and the other fireworks cruises like the one mentioned above other than one is private? We did the private one last summer and would 100% do it again!

I would guess that if you only have 2 people (like us) the private would be very, very expensive. Whereas this one is $85/each. They are also limited to 10 people per boat (2 boats) so it's much smaller than the non-DVC fireworks cruises that leave from the TTC.

I rarely drink alcohol also. It kind of irks me that there isn't separate pricing for those who don't drink champagne.
It seems to suggest that the boat can be booked individually, rather than by the total boat.

With DVC, you can book just for the two of you. That’s nice.

I do wish there was a “non alcohol“ price.

On DCL, we do get a sparkling non alcoholic cider instead of bottle of wine as a Platinum Gift. That’s appreciated!😊

Just noticed a note on the DVC site that the members fireworks cruises are returning. Having never done one, do people think this is worth it? I noticed it said you receive a "treat box" and champagne.

ETA: It says it will be on Wed. nights, which seems odd to me given that is extended evening night at MK.

It was always Wednesday evening prior to the shutdown, so stayed the same.

Can you hear the music? That is, do they have it on a sound system on the boat?

If you don't mind me asking, how much are the private fireworks cruises? I would love to try and book one for my dad and I on our trip in October. He is 75 and this will probably be his last trip to WDW. We said that in 2020, but somehow, we managed to schedule another one! I want to make it extra special. I am already taking him on a fishing trip (he's never done that!) and I'd love to surprise him with a fireworks cruise too, especially if I could book it on our last night. He loved watching the fireworks from TOTWL and I know he would love avoiding the crowds if we had a private pontoon boat.

I just booked one recently for March. $424.94 with tax. 6 of us, but you do not share the boat with anyone else. Maximum of 10 in your party.
