DVC Fantasies needed

Life is too mundane right now. I need to escape with a DVC fantasy.

If points/money were no problem, I'm thinking about spending a year living at the World. I know you can't stay in any one place too long (I wouldn't want to deny others of their fantasies!) but I like the idea of moving around every few weeks-trying every resorts and different views. What does Stacy say in the video? It would take years to stay in all the different rooms? I'm ready to give it a try! I want to spend my days walking the beautifully manicured grounds, take advantage of all the amenities, try all the restaurants and all the dishes and maybe even go to the parks every now and then. I need beauty, joy, and no maintenance in my life right now. I think I'll start at OKW...

Anyone else have a DVC fantasy they want to share?

My DVC fantasy is to spend the coldest months of the year in one of the warmer DVC locations. I'm thinking Hawaii would do nicely!:thumbsup2

My son, a DVC owner, since 2 1/2, now 15 (can give his own tour and sales pitch) loves the GV's ( 4 stays to date). Hewould love to stay in one each and every time we are at Disney! We do travel usually in parties of 6-9, spreading out would be fantastic!

Points & money no object!

My DVC fantasy, spend a week in each resort's grand villa, back to back hosting all of our friends and family from Hilton Head to Hawaii (are there GV at Alauni?) Add to this daily housekeeping! Including a weekly group dinner at the best restaurant available, Blue Zoo, Victoria & Albert, Shula's, Narcosses, Il Mulino, Timpano's Italian Chop House, Norman's!

Insert a few Illumination dessert cruises, Safari's and Segway tours in the midst and I'd be in my glory!

I love it! Hawaii sounds wonderful. And I love the idea of daily housekeeping. And how about spa services? It would be great to have someone come to the GV and give a massage!

My DVC fantasy, which is more of a Disney fantasy, is to take one big long trip and visit each and every Disney park world wide. We periodically plan this trip out and the airfare alone is always way more than we would like to spend, but we have fun planning it. Maybe some day!

My sons have been to Disney Paris and had a blast but I've only done the ones in the USA. We have managed to stay at HH and VB with DVC so that takes us away from the usual parks a bit.

In your dream trip around the world of Disney, how long would you stay at each place? Is this a visit or a linger?

The only dvc fantasy I have is to have a dvc in NYC. This is coming from somebody who lives 40 min from nyc.

I would stay there on points. Every couple of years disney thinks about it or does some backwork for it and backs out.

I also would love a new york dvc. Id love to be able to go for a weekend. It could be nyc or anywhere in say a 2 hr drive from the city.
