Did anyone take part in any of the Easter activites (egg hunts, candle scramble) this year? We are considering going over Easter next year (are we crazy) and wondered how these activities were. And was it mobed or manageable?

Thanks,
Jenny

yes, we stayed at the bcv and at 9 am they had an easter candy scrambled, i think the kids were paired off in age group and they gave each one a cute easter plastic bag with handles and the kids were correl into 3 sections and they had to round around and pick up the candy, tootsie rools, mini candy bars, egg candy
then they had the characters all over the resort for pics and autographs, they also had activities thruout the day, i cant remember what they had because the kids wanted to go to the pool and then we went to cape mays had ps for 7pm we sat at 8pm. so make your ps a little early because you will be waiting, they even stopped taking walk ins. it stormed that night , big time, and by the time we were done the rain stopped. i think it was $27.99 adult and $12.99 kids, the dessert buffet was great plus they had choc. rabbits in foil that the kids got to take.
each resort either had easter egg hunt or candy scramble, i think bwv had the candy too.

We stayed at BWV and my daughter participated in the candy scramble. I didnt think it was overly crowded at the candy scramble either. The Easter bunny and Alice were there for pictures too. Also, later in the day at Epcot, over by the Land pavilion there was an Easter egg hunt. There was also an Alice in Wonderland tea party that day at Epcot but DD felt too "old" to participate in the tea party.
I really enjoyed going at Easter. Yes, it was way more crowded than I was used to but with fastpass we had no problems doing everything we wanted.

Thanks for the info! We have never gone over Easter and thought all of the activites sounded like fun for our girls. We are just a little concerned about the crowds. We have gone over Christmas twice before but have heard that the Easter/spring break crowds are worse. We would like to try and get a reservation 7-months out at Saratoga if possible.
