Has anyone gone to Fantasia Gardens mini golf (or Winter/Summerland) and gotten a discount because you were a DVC member?

How much was the discount, and did you need your membership ID or was the room key (that says "DVC Member" on it) enough?

I'm asking because I'm staying on my mother's points, and I'm wondering if I should go through the trouble of asking her to mail or fax her membership card. Thanks for the help!

We got a 15% discount on our last visit here. Cant answer the other question though as we used our member card.

In the past, we received the mini golf discount with our room card that says member on it, and also with our membership card as well. We use whichever one we pull out our wallets first. So, I guess you don't actually need the membership card. Can someone 100% confirm this? :)

Is this attraction worth the price tag? I'm looking for 'fillers' for our arrival day, so we don't use a hopper day. :earsboy: :earsboy:

If you are in to miniature golf, absolutley. With a Disney flair no less. ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

In addition to the 15% DVC discount, there has also been a 50% AP discount. That's my kind of discount :). Of course you cannot use both at the same time.

For mini-golf fans, they have two nice layouts, one whimsical and the other a nice golfing themed layout.

It's 50% for passholders and 15% for up to three guests with the passholder..

That's the day we're going to go, arrival day. We don't want to waste a day on our pass when we're not getting in until 4pm. FYI, it's $10 for a round of golf and 50% off if you go a second time.

What do you mean, 50% for pass holders? For annual passholders?

So if I go with everyone else in my party (there's 8 total), we'll all get 15% off the ticket price (I don't have an annual pass) as long as I show my room card? Thanks guys!

50% off for the annual passholder, and 15% off for an additional 3 guests.

DVC members get 15% off for the member plus 4 guests

If you are not an annual passholder, you do not get the 50% off and your compadres get squat as well

Since you are obviously a DVC member, you will get 15% off for yourself and 4 guests by showing your room key that says that your a member. Now, having said that, I am basing this on the fact when we go to WDW, we usually have at the most, two other guests with us, and we have shown, at different times, either our membership card or our DVC member room key. Both have worked. If you walk up to the ticket booth with 7 other people, at least one other person needs to be a DVC member so that you can each get three other guests in at the 15% discount..

After all of this, I just went to look at some of my old room keys, and it seems that all the room keys we have say DVC member on them. That kind of throws a monkey wrench into the works..

I guess you will have to call the vacation club and ask them.

Some help I am, right?

We got DVC discount there over New Year's. We should have done the regular mini-golf area, but tried the "pitch/putt" area and it was really too challenging for us non-golfers! We loved Sumer-Winterland golf by AK and you also get DVC discount here.
