DVC Disney Collection--Disneyland Hotel question

Has anyone used points to stay at one of the hotels at Disneyland lately? I read that there is a $10 resort fee added on to your bill (for parking & fitness areas). My guess is that this is included since I'm staying on points. Can anyone confirm this as I've never used my points before? Thanks.

We stayed at DLH on points over the summer and were not charged!

Remember to take print outs of all of the DVC discounts available at Disneyland and CARRY THEM WITH YOU. Unfortunately, the CMs at DL seem unfimiliar with most of the DVC discounts offered.

I stayed at Grand Californian last month. (Loved it!) The $10/day resort fee definitely is included in what you "paid" with your points. Note that this entitles you to parking if you happen to have a car.

The info is on the members' website. Looks like most of the info relates to stays in January 2006, though.

The Disneyland Resort invites Members to take part in its Happiest Homecoming on Earth and take advantage of special perks in January 2006, as the Disneyland Resort presents special savings on merchandise, dining and much more as part of Member Month.

Special limited-time perks at the Disneyland® Resort

From enhanced merchandise, dining and ticket discounts to preferred attraction access, Members will enjoy a variety of special perks in January 2006 as part of Member Month at the Disneyland Resort. Members who check-in at any Disneyland Resort hotel during this special month will receive a coupon booklet packed with special offers.
Examples include a discounted Park Hopper® Ticket (as many as five days of park hopping at a special rate of $119 for each adult or $99 for each child ages 3-9), a free "50th anniversary" dessert plate with a purchase at participating restaurants, a 10 percent discount off purchases of $50 or more at participating merchandise shops and preferred access to the ASIMO show inside the Innoventions attraction at Disneyland Park and the Turtle Talk with Crush show (inspired by Walt Disney Pictures' presentation of the Pixar Animation Studios film Finding Nemo) at Disney's California Adventure™ Park.
