I am so excited! I just found out about the Magic Family Tour in Magic Kingdom! It sounds like sooo much fun for the kids, and the kids getting to go on a ride with one of the characters makes the $25+tax pp well worth it for this 2 hour event!
I never knew they even had something like this. I knew they had the Keys to the World tour, and some other behind the scenes tours, but with 3 small kids, spending that kind of money would not be worth it, because really, I don't think my kids would care about all the behind the scenes going ons. This one is different. It is like a scavenger hunt throughout the Kingdom, for the past couple of years anyway, it has been that Peter Pan has stole Capt. Hook's hook, and we need to find it or Capt. Hook will do something terrible to the Magic Kingdom. I guess some of the things we do is jump, skip, crawl, and one woman's review said they had to walk backwards into Adventureland! LOL. They let the kids who can read take turns reading the clues, and leading them to the next destination. The highlight of the event is at the end, when the group gets one on one time with a character then the character escorts the group onto a ride. One write up said the character was Peter Pan and he took the group on his ride, skipping the line, and the children rode in the car with him. Another write up, it was Snow White taking the kids on The Winnie The Pooh Ride (when it first opend), but, every time the got right on the ride, by passing the line.
Why am I posting this on the DVC board? Because I called yesterday to make reservations for it, and as a DVC member..we get 15% off the price! WOOHOO! The price of $25 + tax pp is already reasonable IMO, and to get 15% off that....it is great to be a DVC memeber! LOL
