I keep on getting different prices on Annual Pass. I went to our WOD store and they gave me a sheet with pricing from Aug 08, told the person that I believe pricing has increased since???

Can someone pls confirm the current prices for DVC discounted AP for adults as well as a child (under 10yrs). Also, since this is the first year we will be purchasing....I would like to know how the expiration works. They expire exactly a year to the day of purchase or to the day your vacation ends. Just want to be clear prior to purchasing at Guest Services on the first day of our trip. Thanks for the help! :goodvibes

New DVC member discounted AP are priced as follows:
Adult AP (Age 10+): $369
Child AP (Age 3-9):$326
Adult PAP: $474
Child PAP: $418

Above prices don't include the required 6.5% sales tax.

If you purchase your AP at WDW, they will expire one year from the date of purchase.

If you purchase an exchange voucher on-line or from MS, your AP will expire one year after you exchange the voucher for the actual AP.

Is that the price that is expected on August 1, 2009? Or current price?

When we were at SR this past March, I bought 8-day no exp tickets and used only 4, so we have 4 days left on them.

Next year, we are planning two trips (March & December), so I'm thinking the AP might be a good option for us to use next year and save the extra 4 days on the no exp tickets for our 2011 trip.

If I buy 2 APs before the price increase in August 2009, can I activate them in March 2010, essentially being able to use them from March 2010 to March 2011?

Thanks!

Yes, you can purchase exchange vouchers on-line or from MS. They don't expire.

And

If you renew your annual pass, the expiration date on the renewal will be the original expiration date.

You have to renew your pass within +/- 30 days of its expiration date. I'm pretty sure you can do that online and they will send you the voucher - when you activate it, as the others said, its start date will be backdated to the date your previous AP ended.
