dvc discount on HOOP-DE-DOO REVIEW

My family is travleing with another family of four. I know I can purchase a dvc-discounted AP and then the DDE and use it for our entire table of eight, if I'm present and pay in one bill. My next question is can I get the dvc member discount for hoop-de-doo for all eight of us. I;m not trying to do anything wrong, I just want to find out later I could have saved them some$$$ if I bought all eight txs.
This is our first hoop-de-doo even though we've been to disney now 13 times. Maybe all adults have to show dvc cards to get the membership....I don't know. That would answer the ?, but I can't seem to find a definitive answer.....SUE

I could be wrong and someone please correct me if I am, but I believe the only discount for HDDR is an AMEX 10$ discount on the last show of the day?

There is also a DDE discount on the last show of the day. I don't think there is an AMEX discount anymore, since AMEX is no longer the "official" charge card.

According to the info that I have from allearsnet.com for Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue the discounts that are available are:

DVC: 10% off price of 9:30pm show
DDE: 20% off all meals and beverages

I don't know if everyone in the party has to be a DVC Member for that discount so I can't help you there, but since it sounded like you were planning on getting the DDE card, it looks like that would be a better discount anyway.

We were able to use the DVC discount for the whole party (using my DVC membership). It was myself and my brother and my brother's family.
I think it was 20% (maybe 10%) off the 9:30 show.
There was no discount off the earlier show.

The DDE info they just emailed me says only last show. Same for the Aloha Dinner show.
