Since my disney club card has recently expired and we are DVC members, I was wondering if we can purchase annual pass tickets with a discount or use it to obtain purchase at a discount?
Thanks!

(who knows she should know the answer but at 2:30am can't seem to think straight!)
NO, DVC does NOT get pass discounts other than the 10% on the UPH. I do think that all pre-trip tickets purchased at the DS now are a bit cheaper than they are at the parks, so anyone buying at the DS ahead will get a slight discount. I am calling the DS at the MOA today to find out that information for our guests. I am not sure they will be selling AP vouchers anymore, but I'll be asking that question too.
So I could get a discounted pass from the DS (not gate price) but it is the standard fixed price without the additional DVC discount. Now my question is, if we buy discounted Hopper pass and I know we can upgrade to an annual pass - but do they apply the amount of the true full price value of the ticket or the discounted rate and subtract it from the Full price Annual pass gate price?
Thanks!!

This is Disney, what do you think? Let me explain about a similar issue that will also answer this one.
Say you had a 4 day park hopper ticket you bought 10 years ago and wanted to trade it in. No problem says Disney, we'll give you a credit of what you paid per day 10 years ago NOT the current per day price of a 4 day park hopper ticket. This is a good deal for disney and a bad deal for us. Never trade in tickets if there has been a price increase since you bought it.
