DVC Discount for Annual Passes?

I understand that as a DVC member we are entitled to a discount on length of stay passes, but what about annual passes. Do DVC members receive a discount on annual passes, or is the only discount available for those belonging to the Disney Club?

DVC does NOT offer an AP discount. The only DVC ticket discounts are the 10% on UMP's and the "Magical Years" pass- available only to DVC members.

DC is the only discount available for AP's.

Thanks for the info. One more question...If one member of our party (BIL) has a DC card can he get the discount for our entire party or do I have to have my own?

What is Magical Years??? I'm trying to decide what the best way to purchase park passes. I'm booking 5 nights in June, planning on getting the length of stay pass because of the DVC discount. I considered the PAP and AP, but I'm not sure if I'm going back in a year, or if I do decide to go, if I would be going during the winter when I probably wouldn't be going to the water parks.

Have suggetstions?

Magical Years is a DVC pass which offers 5 day Hoppers- to be used during 4 of the next 5 years. They do expire each year (may not be carried over like normal Hoppers) and the cost is around $750.

Unless a 5 day Hopper exactly suits your needs, this is probably NOT the best pass for you (or anyone else). The UMP- with discount does make sense for those want to go into the parks each day of their trip and who won't return within a year. It includes all 4 parks, all water parks, PI and DQ.

If my mother is a DC member (she is) and she wants to buy me an AP as a present (I'll actually pay her back) can she get the discount or does she have to buy an AP for herself and for me to get me the discount?

Hi Paul, I'm not Doc, but here's your answer. Yes she can. She can purchase the AP voucher at your local disney store or over the phone with Disney Club Card operators getting the 5% discount on AP. Then present you the voucher and you activate it on your next trip to the world. Ta dah!
