DVC discount @ DL?

Hello Gang,

we are planning a trip to DL.
Do they offer a DVC disconnects as WDW does?...
dining/ merchantance/ or ant where else?

We went in 2014, so my memory may be a little fuzzy, but I think they did. I know they asked if we had AP's, and we did....for WDW! Those didn't work out there.

I just checked DVC Member website, and there are DVC discounts. Log in and check to see for yourself. There are food service locations (mostly 10%), face painting, Splitsville, tours, etc.

We went in 2016 and they do offer a discount. I believe it was 10%. However, we had difficulty with some CM's knowing what DVC was.

Be sure to ask whenever you buy something or get something to eat even at counter service or food carts. We were there 8/20-27/19 and got many discounts, including for churros! Many more DVC discounts there than at WDW.

The 10% discount includes most, if not all snack and QS locations, too!
In 2014, most CM’s asked us if we had an AP, so I’d reply, no, but I have a DVC card. (And got a discount)

The CM's are great in DLR about asking for discounts. When they do ask, I always present my card and most of the time it works!

Yes! Way more discounts at DL than WDW we found. Every place we ate, where it was sit down or QS, gave us a discount for showing our card as well as a few stores in Downtown Disney (including World of Disney) offer the discount.

Just back and very glad I remember to take our DVC card along for the trip even though we weren’t staying onsite. Agree with previous poster, the locations and discount value were great at DL

We just got back. We got a discount everywhere except Napa Rose and one or two snack carts. We probably ended up with a free lunch once you added up all of the discounts.

On the other hand, the only ticket discount is $20 off AP.
