DVC discount at SSR spa when offsite?

hello! i have a business conference in orlando coming up that's minutes away from WDW, but i'll be staying offsite. Company is paying for it so

but i do plan to sneak over to WDW whenever i can. i was wondering if anyone knew whether my DVC membership perks still apply when you are not staying at a DVC resort or staying on-property? Will I still have pool hopping priviledges? Will i still get discounts to SSR spa? thanks!

We've used the SSR Spa several times when not staying onsite. Each time we were given the DVC discount.

I don't think pool hopping is permitted in your situation (someone jump in with correction?) -- but you will still receive the various retail and dining discounts offered in the Portable Perks.

Correct, pool hopping is for those staying onsite only. Most discount perks apply whether you stay onsite or not.

There are also perks tied to your staying onsite, not because it is DVC, but because it is a WDW resort, like free theme park parking, package delivery, onsite charging, etc.

If you also have an AP, you are entitled to free park parking, but it is not a perk by virtue of DVC membership.

Required ID for pool hopping is a resort ID with the "Member" designation. Your DVC membership card isn't supposed to get you in.

Other benefits, like spa discounts, require your membership card and you can take advantage of those regardless of whether you are staying on property or not.

Nope, it is an AP perk (show your pass) OR a perk for staying onsite, including regular WDW and DVC resorts (dashboard tag from resort.)

The free valet parking at DVC resorts that offer it is available whether you are staying onsite or not...show your membership card.
