DVC Discount at Kids' Clubs

Greetings and Salutations!

We are planning on taking advantage of one of the Kids' Club on an upcoming trip. When we were there a few months ago we stopped by the Kids' Club at BCV to check it out and asked about a DVC discount. Of course now that we are home I can't remember what the CM said about the amount of the discount. I am thinking it was 10% or 15% but can't remember. And what do we need to show to the Kids' Club CMs to get the DVC discount - our room key or our DVC member card (which we don't normally have with us when heading to a park)? Can we pay for the childcare with a WDW gift card? Trying to make sure that I plan for that expense.

Kids ages 4-12 can enjoy computer games, Disney movies, dinner, and snacks in an environment created just for them—while you have a night out for yourself! Receive a 10% discount at Children's Activity Centers at the Walt Disney World® Resort.

Children's Activity centers are available at five locations: Cub's Den at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, Mouseketeer Clubhouse at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Sandcastle Club at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts, Simba's Cubhouse at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, and NeverLand at Disney's Polynesian Resort.

Hours of operation are 4:30 pm to 12:00 am daily. Price before discount is $11 per hour, per child. Discount is limited to three children per Member. Children must stay for a minimum of two hours. For Activity Center reservations, call (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463).

It doesn't say what's required to be shown to get the discount, but you should always carry your blue membership card with you at WDW.

We used sandcastle club this may for 3 kids. Since we are new to DVC we forgot about the disocount until our 2nd night of sancastle club. I showed them my card and they took care of the 10% discount on the spot for that evening. They directed me to the beach club check in to get a refund of 10% for the 1st night. It wass no hassle.

When I called to make a reservation at Sandcastle Club I told them I was DVC. Once we arrived at the club I did show my member card to get the discount.
