DVC Discount at Cdn Disney Store?

We were at the Disney Store in Moncton.NB today, and picked up t-shirts for the kids ($11.99, buy two, get one free!! ), and got to the cash,,,showed my DVC Card, and the CM didn't want - or know how - to use it.

She thought it was the Disney Club Card.
And there's "no expiration date, ma'am"..."What kind of Card is this?" "Disney doesn't have a Vacation/Timeshare Club" "You're sure you should get a discount???" "I'll have to call the Regional Manager to verify that this is what you say it is"....

We do get a discount a Cdn Disney Store, right? Is it 10%?

She had me wondering...guess there aren't too many DVCMembers in the Atlantic Provinces!!!

Yep, its 10 percent, I use mine all the time. Hope you dont have that problem again,

Yep 10% and it even counts towards sale items to. Limeridge knows it and asks us if we have brought ours in with us so we can get the discount. Hope you get a little more knowledgable person next time.

I finally preordered "Brother Bear" and was given a certificate and the manager reminded me that it's just the certificate or the DVC discount!LOL

I picked up something reallllllly adorable for the colour exchange on the community board!
