Wanted to let anyone who is going to be at the MVMCP in November that you can call now to make ADR's at LTT or Tony's. I just got off the phone with Member Services and a very nice lady was able to get my family of 5 an ADR at LTT for 5:30 on November 28th. That's one of the nights DVC members receive a discount for the party ticket.

First time for us to dine at LTT and go to MVMCP. We usually go in May, so we're so excited to be there with the Christmas decorations. This is one family that can't wait. We're staying at OKW, so if you see a guy 6'2", about 45 years old, grey hair, and a HUGE smile on his face walking around the pool between November 25th and December 2nd say hi!!!

Hi there Mickeygolf!
Our party of 7 will be at LTT at 5:45. This is also our 1st time around the holidays. I can't wait! We will be staying at SSR, also our first time. I'll be looking for you at LTT, see ya there!

You'll absolutely love it! Make sure you get in line for the early show, it gets very crowded later in the evening.

Thought the Osborne lights @ MGM were amazing too.

It's a wonderful time of year to visit, enjoy.

chrissybear, I'll be looking for your party of 7 too. We can't wait to try LTT. We've done just about every other character meal on site except that one. My little girl loves Minnie and my wife says I'm Goofy, so we should have a great time. Enjoy your trip!

Where is your family staying? Anywhere at Disney is Awesome!!!

6 of us, all over 50 ate our first character meal at LTT before a MVMCP last year, and all of us thought the food was excellent, and it was a great way to prepare for the party.

Enjoy yourselves! It looks as if DH are going too late in December to get a discount to the party, but we definitely will be going to one.

And oh, I forgot, a different group of us, 7 this time, will be going to LTT before our planned MNSSHP in October. This time we'll be celebrating Daunt's 80th birthday.

I think yesterday someone mentioned buying tickets to MVMCP from MS and then MS was able to make the dinner ressies.

I didn't even have to buy the tickets yet. I told the member service rep that I was going to MVMCP and she was able to put in the date of the party and it allowed her to make the ADR. I fully intend to buy the tickets for the party and I told her that. I'm sure if you purchased your tickets and then have them make the ADR you'll have no problem. But my lady was very very nice and she went ahead and made my reservation without purchasing the tickets first.

Good luck!!!

When I bought the tickets to MVMCP, they asked if we wanted to eat at LTT or Tonys. I picked LTT and they transfered me to Disney Dining and they did the rest. I just can't remember which # I called to get the MVMCP in the first place.

Mickeygolf, we are staying at SSR 11/22-11/29. Like you LTT is one of the few Character meals that we haven't had yet. My DH and I ate lunch there when we celebrated our 10 yr anniv. (with out the kids). The food was excellent! We are looking forward to this meal to kick off the holiday season.

Do you happen to know what other nights of the MVMCP are discounted for DVC members?

According to allearsnet the discount for DVC members are on November 13, 17, and 28th and December 14th. Advanced price with discount is $38.29 for adults and $29.77 for ages 3-9.

It's going to be a lot of fun!

Silly question, I know. But what's LTT? Liberty Tavern?

I know you can actually get in to MVMCP earlier than the stated 7 pm, but I"m not sure how early. Would early reservations for dinner allow you to get the arm band early and be in MK early?

You are correct, it's Liberty Tree Tavern. Having dinner reservations should help you get in earlier, but it is my understanding that you can get in as early as 4:00 with your tickets. I can't say this for sure since this is our first time going, but from everything I've read that should be true.

Thanks! I called and got our MVMCP tickets for December 7th (no discount but that's when our trip is already scheduled for) AND also got dinner reservations at 5:35 pm at Liberty Tree Tavern for the character dinner.

We've gone to the MVMCP the last two years but have eaten at California Grill before heading in to the party. Eating in the MK should save some time and make a little girl who will be with us very happy to see Minnie, etc.

Mickeygolf your going to love WDW at Christmas. The whole resort is really amazing. This will be our third time to go at Christmas and we just love it. It's the first time for DH and I to be by ourselves at Christmas. We're going to the party on December 7th also and have a ressie at LTT for 5:00. That's where we ate the first time we went to MVMCP. There was 13 of us then. We had a blast.
